It's All Over
Okay, if you're still reading this you've probably realised the wheels have fallen off this blog somewhat. The "daily" part of The Daily Constitutional has been pissing me off for a while now. I don't have the time and am not particularly interested in searching the day's news for snippets to put my own spin on. Frankly, a number of other blogs do it so much better. So, I figure I should stick to my strengths. I'm going to concentrate on less frequent, lengthier posts tackling the broad issues that don't crop up as part of the unfolding news situation.
I've been offered a spot as a contributor at my favourite blog, Samizdata, and from now on I'll only publish there. I will keep this blog and its archives open, cos I might feel like cranking it up again at some point in the future.
But for now, I'm signing off of Blogspot. Thanks for reading and commenting. You've all been great.
UPDATE : And this just pisses me off. Why couldn't I get that sort of coverage when posting here??

Disappointing, yet understandable, James. It was a pleasure reading your work, and I'll be following you over to samizdata when you post there.
Here's hoping you'll join me in some more Lowenstein-bashing some time soon.
Cheers.
Yep, very disappointing, James. You deserve a going away montage of some sort.
I generally avoid writing about Australian issues on Samzidata coz the readers are all Poms.
That's one reason to keep a blogspot blog going.
But very glad to see you joining the ranks of Aussies on Samizdata. Welcome aboard.
Hi James - I haven't had a look at Samizdata yet, but it seems that I'll have to bookmark it so that I can keep track of you.
BTW - really enjoyed you're up dates from China.
I'm hoping to jump back into posting on my blog soon, so drop by once in a while, just in case I'm inspired (you never know ya luck in a big city).
Looking forward to seeing your work at your new blog home.
Hope you have a great year ahead.
Lots of Lurve

Yawn! Knew it couldn't last...
James - The Age (theage.com.au) has a piece in today's paper about the cooperation of Google, Yahoo and MS helping the Chinese government to block content - just confirms my comment on Samizdata. FYI.
