ABC Night
I stayed in tonight babysitting my young nephew, and spent most of the evening watching ABC TV. Thoughts -
*Anyone see the interview of Chrissy Amphlett on the 7.30 Report tonight? Geebus. What a sappy lot of crap. Amphlett seems to be perpetually dazed and in wonderment at her life, and her ridiculously breathless, overly expressive cadence reminded me of the acting on Home and Away. Amphlett saved the most vomitously saccharin-sweet, star-struck navel-gazing for last:
* Is it just me or is Kath & Kim not that funny anymore?
*Man, The Glasshouse sucks the balls. Why, just listen to Wil Anderson's opening japes - George Bush is stupid, John Howard is short and in thrall to George Bush, Kim Beazley is fat. Har har fucking har. Someone axe this pile of shit.

CHRISSY AMPHLETT: Well, I think by doing this I'm just moving on. I still write music and I perform. I feel a lot better about myself. I even love myself some days.

Agreed. I usually love political satire, but not when it is as repetitive as that... and men who wear nail polish piss me off...
“George Bush is stupid” I swear, when he goes through ‘tomorrows headlines’ segment or whatever it is, no matter what they are- he manages to add that exact line:

I don't usually watch Letterman, but I've noticed he does the same thing- "Gee, Audience... anyone from Texas? Dubya is from Texas- he's a fuck head!" *ho ho ho*
Someone did point out something rather amusing the other day, however. Go to Google and search "Failure"- make sure you click 'feel'n lucky'. But to save you wasting your time, G.B's White House biography comes up.
