What's with this blog, anyway?

I have started a blog because I am sick of everyone else having one. I wander along, see or experience something and think "I'd put that on my blog if I had one!", and now I have one. It'll be a variety blog, quite politics heavy, but it's not exclusively a political blog. There will be a lot of commentary on what interests me, insights, yadda yadda yadda... maybe some deep thoughts that I can post, think about, and decide are a load of crap later on. I aim to have regular readers and a moderate commentariat within a year and a half.
